NATIONAL LAW SCHOOL JOURNAL

CALL FOR PAPERS

The National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore was established in 1986 to improve the quality of legal education in the country. A key aspect of our leadership role has been to encourage research and publication and provide a forum for academic discussions in law. The National Law School Journal (NLSJ), a peer reviewed annual journal run by NLSIU faculty, strives towards realizing this objective. The journal, which was published annually between 1988 and 1998, is now being revived.

The NLSJ aims to publish original and innovative legal scholarship in the diverse fields of law. The NLSJ is also keen to publish interdisciplinary socio-legal research that examines the interface between law and political, economic, social and legal institutions.

The NLSJ invites contributions for its revival issue. Contributions may be in the form of articles, book reviews or case comments on subjects that fall within the broad objective set for the journal. Contributors are welcome to address these aspects from national, comparative and international perspectives.

Articles must be in the range of 5000 to 7500 words. Contributions must be complete in all respects including footnotes and citations. Contributors are requested to submit a soft copy of their article and abstract. Soft copies should be sent to nlsj@nls.ac.in
